Installing a Reese Tipis Ozans
Installing one ozan.
1. Untie the top center liner tie (at the lift pole).
2. Unfold the ozan and locate the center "butterfly loop" on the curved valance edge.
3. "Butterfly loops" are sewn on the top of the ozan - make sure they are facing up - then lace the top center liner tie (at the lift pole) through the center "butterfly loop" and re-tie it to the liner rope.
4. Repeat this process for the remaining "butterfly loops".
5. Using a ladder or step-stool, tie a loop in the tipi main tie rope approximately 8 feet above the ground.
6. Using the short nylon rope on the center of the straight (front) edge of the ozan, tie the ozan to the loop on the tipi main tie rope. The ozan should slope to the rear of the tipi.
7. Fold all of the ozan valances over the top of the liner and under the liner rope.
